What's Easter without coloring eggs... I highly recommend newspaper underneath. :) Grace was in the kitchen in her bouncy chair watching the action... this picture is a little funny but defiantly shows how alert she is.

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Joe took the kids to a community Easter egg hunt, they had a fun time racing to find eggs and treats.

and then there were four...

I cannot believe we are up to four kids... and beautiful ones, if I do say so myself. :)

WRESTLING

The boys have recently joined a wrestling team and are loving it. It is the first sport they have been able to do and it is a blast to watch. This last weekend they had there first tournament. Jace did very well winning two out of his three matches. Hyrum wrestled hard and was excited when he received his consolation medal at the end. They had a weigh in the night before and were both in the same weight devision, ( that is the # written on there arms). It has been fun for Joe to help during the practices and for the boys to be able to practice with each other at home.

Big Sister

Rebekah is an absolute dream big sister. She is my right hand girl and helps me with anything and everything baby. She loves to sit by me and talk to " baby Grace". She is the first to throw away the diaper, get a burp cloth, sing a song, bring the phone or just sit and talk to me about all things mommy. I love having these two little girls next to each other. Bekah has nothing but love and concern for sister, I am one lucky mama.

Sweet Gracie

The bow up... and the bow down. She was completely asleep and content, almost like the bow acted as a sleep eye covering. We love this little one.

Gracie loves her big brothers! Jace was holding her the other day and she just stared up at him for the longest time.

This other pic is just before leaving the hospital.

She is perfect.

Daddy loves her! Even though this is number four, we had forgotten how much we love our newborns!!! There is nothing like holding a brand new little one. They are so sleepy and snuggly. One thing we do remember is how fast they grow up. We just want to soak up every moment with this little one. Not that we have favorites... because we don't.... but who doesn't love the one that isn't mouthy or throwing a tantrum or crying about what we are having for dinner? Its a nice break to look away from all the chaos to the peacefully sleeping baby.

Jace has had a little bit of a cough so we had him wear a mask. He is so concerned about her getting his cough that even now at home he wants to wear it to protect her.

Joe and I on our way to the hospital. The kids love baby sister. They all took turns holding her again and again.

WELCOME BABY GRACE!!!!

We are happy to announce the arrival of sweet baby girl! Grace Emma was born on Thursday the 8th at 5pm. She weighed 7 pounds even and is 19 inches long, with a small amount of dark hair. She is a beautiful baby and has a sweet content personality. The labor was one of my better ones and we are both feeling great.

Down to 4!

That's right, about 4 weeks to go! I am feeling good and looking forward to baby girl. Hoping baby doesn't grow too much bigger as my ribs are starting to take a real beating... but i guess i can take one for the team:)

SNOW!

We finally got a decent snowfall and the kids loved it! All the kids in our town home complex went out for several days after school and built snowmen and forts. Jace and Hyrum were mostly busy making a snow tunnel. Nice fresh air for the kids and and a little breathing room for mom.

For Christmas the kids got boxing gloves and a hunting video game. They can't wait for Dad to get home and play.

This pic is for you Mom and Dad Here I am in all my pregnancy glory. I have been feeling great and am beginning the countdown till baby comes. About 10 weeks to go.
This is our attempt to take family pictures after church on Christmas day. We tried a lot of different poses and all were awkward. These were the best of the group. We are not sure where Jace gets his forced smile look from but rest assured we are going to work on that. It is always entertaining for me to watch Joe set up the camera stand, push the button and race over to make it into the picture. I think all the kids were kicked at one point or another by him leaping over them to sit down.
We had a wonderful Christmas, and really enjoyed having it on Sunday this year. We were able to enjoy what Santa had brought, get ready for church and after church open presents. Jace and Hyrum got scooters, and crazy enough Idaho has had a very light snowfall this year. They immediately went out into the brisk weather to try them out.

Christmas Morning! Here the kids are waiting at the top of the stairs. It was a pleasant surprise that they did not wake up any earlier then normal... we were very grateful and only a little bleary eyed.

CHRISTMAS EVE

On Christmas Eve morning we took the kids for a little swim at the clubhouse pool. Here are Hylo and Bekah walking home. We had a wonderful seafood lunch with our Anderson family. We exchanged gifts the cousins played and we ate way too much yummy food. We made it home in the evening to enjoy all the holiday traditions. We left oats out for the reindeer, treats and eggnog for Santa, set out stockings, and of course we all opened a present. After some toast and hot chocolate we read the night before Christmas and then ended with the nativity. It was a wonderful night full of excitement and suspense. I love Christmas!!!

CHRISTMAS!!!

We got an extra bonus this Christmas when we found a beautiful tree in our town home crawl space, left behind by some previous tenant... finders keepers! We loved decorating it. Poor Hyrum was feeling a little sick, he helped put on the star.
