We had a great Halloween holiday. Hyrum was Davey Crockett, Jace wanted to be a knight, and Bekah was a hula dancer. We had a carnival with some close friends and the kids had a blast. They had doughnuts on a string, decorating pumpkins, a cake walk, ghost bowling, ghost ghost witch, and tons of food. It was really fun to watch the kids in their costumes.

Jace and Hyrum lost teeth on the same day.

BOWLING
We took the kids bowling a few weeks ago and they loved it. I'm not going to bore you with numbers but I played my best game ever... Joe only won because i was feeling kind that day. :) as a side note, i might have played with the kid bumpers up.
Behind again...

Does anyone else feel continually behind? It's probably just me. :) As always the excuse is a busy couple of weeks. After a few months of Joe commuting back and forth from Idaho Falls to Rexburg, we decided to make life easier and make the move to Rexburg. Joe and I have moved many times in our 8 years of marriage... this is lucky number 16.... somehow it is a lot of work no matter how many times you do it. This time i had the added pleasure of finding a new school for the boys, mid school year. We had a place all picked out and the packing started, the kids registered and set to start and it fell through the week before we planned to move in. I quickly found a different place and then had to register the kids at a different school. We ended up moving the day before Hyrum's birthday, and two days before Halloween. We are finally in and settled and the kids are adjusting to new teachers and friends. Phew!!!! A little break before it is time to prepare for baby.

We had an early fall snow storm and the kids spent the day outside making a snow fort. Which allowed me to get a lot of packing out of the way. :)

Baby Number 4!!!!!!!

That's right friends!! Baby number four is on the way. We could not be more excited. I am about 14 weeks and due on March 9. We waited to tell the kids until after my first doctors appointment so I was able to show them pictures. They were jumping up and down and kept asking to see my stomach. The next Sunday was fast Sunday and in primary they asked if anyone wanted to come up and share something that they knew was true. Jace goes up and says, " I know there is a baby in my moms tummy and I know it is a boy." So much for keeping that secret. We are so happy and looking forward to a new little addition.

Uncle Scott

My awesome younger brother Scott is going to be living with us for the fall semester of school at BYU-Idaho. We are so excited to have him staying. He makes everything a little happier and a little funnier. He will be taking Joe's Anatomy class this semester and I think it will be fun for them. Here he is with some of the nieces and nephews.

Back to school

I cannot believe it's time for school. This year Jace starts 1st grade and Hyrum starts kindergarten. They were so excited and eager to set out clothes and get backpacks all packed with school supplies. I walked the kids to school and they both looked so grown up and ready to start. I was holding strong dropping off Jace, but I got emotional watching Hyrum find his seat and put his bag away. I finally had to leave so he wouldn't see me weeping like a baby. I am so proud of these boys! On the way home from dropping the boys off Bekah says, " Now it's just you and me Mom." So cute.

Camping

A Little Backyard football

There is nothing like watching Joe and the kids play football in the backyard. They have such a good time. The kids wait for him and when he walks in they run and get the football.

A little girl time...

Joe took the boys to a baseball game and Bekah and I had time for just the two of us. In true girl form Bekah wanted to watch a Tinkerbell movie and paint our nails. She may look like Dad but she takes after Mom... she chatted my ear off the entire time. It was really fun to be just the two of us.

Summer...

I can't believe the summer is coming to an end. We have been keeping busy and having a blast.

When we returned home we had some family time with Joe's side of the family. His sister Eve was in town with her family. Here we are at Mesa falls. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful waterfall.

We had a fun time watching my beautiful niece Camrie and nephew Carson for a week. The cousins played all week. They were such good kids.

After our big family week we came home for a little break before heading back to Utah a week later to watch my brothers kids for a week. In that week at home Hyrum decided to cut Bekah's hair all off, especially her bangs. All I can say is it was the ugliest looking mullet of all time, I was not happy and Bekah now has super short hair. Needless to say Hyrum has been banned from Scizzors forever.

My sister Emily looked amazing! Here are all my siblings and then all my beautiful sisters. This bottom picture is of my amazing parents and all the grandkid's. It's pretty tricky to get a good photo of every kid... hence the reason mine all look bored.

Here we are at the wedding... the colors were black and lime green. It turned out beautiful!

We spent a week down in Utah with family. We started the week with my niece Hallie's baptism, then an extended family reunion to celebrate the 4th. The weeks end was by far my favorite though, my sister Emily's beautiful Wedding.

The kids and I had some time to kill while Joe was at his seminar. We played with the toys in Target for some time.

Let's play catch up...

I know I am so behind. We have had a busy summer. Here is what has been keeping us so busy.

We took a quick trip back to Oregon for a seminar. It was a blast to take the kids back to the city we spent three years in.
